Walk the city with all-budapest-apartments

There is something two-sided about Hungary… Have you heard about our big lake, Balaton? Well it is very interesting: the Southern side of this long lake is fizzling from crowds that gather to enjoy water sports, discos, dance festivals. On the other hand, the Northern bank is wholly traditional, silent and cultural, with beautiful villages, villas on the hills, and tourists can enjoy wine festivals or open-air theaters and concerts.

This is all the same with Buda and Pest - the two faces of the city, divided by the River Danube. Buda is hilly and green - historically this was the residence of the wealthy - this is where we have our Royal Palace. There are two main centers of Buda, the Northern one is still the city center, district 2. Here you find the beautiful Castle Hill, Fishermen’s Bastion with our Royal Palace. The castle bus starts not far from our Bronson Apartment and Wayne Apartment, up on Moszkva square - to take you to the residence of Hungarian kings, that was built in the 13th century, after the Mongolian Invasion. If you take a stroll in the mighty Castle area, you will also find Matthias Church, the coronation church of Hungarian kings since King Matthias Rex. As part of an expansive reconstruction of the Castle Hill in the late 19th century, Fishermen’s Bastion was build behind Matthias Church as a segment of the city-wall. Shall we mention, that after this walk, you can find marvelous restaurants in the Castle area…
